She holds a Master’s degree in Child Development and is passionate about elevating the caregiving profession by helping nannies recognize the value of their lived experience, natural gifts, and cultural perspective. Simone’s work centers on the belief that authenticity is one of a caregiver’s greatest strengths, and she encourages professionals to confidently bring their full selves into the homes, relationships, and communities they serve.

Damaris Equihua is a Newborn Care Specialist, trained doula, and educator focused on the early relational experiences that shape infant development. With years of hands-on experience supporting families and mentoring caregivers, she shares practical insights on observation, co-regulation, and respectful caregiving. Through her work with Damaris Childcare & Beyond, she is committed to elevating the standard of infant care and empowering caregivers with knowledge and presence.

Stephanie is a former kindergarten teacher, mom of four, and founder of Story & Play Co. She combines her expertise in early childhood education with hands-on, story-led sensory experiences to inspire learning and imagination in young children.

Chelbie Hudson is a professional development coach and early childhood education

advocate, and is a doctoral scholar at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. With over a decade of

experience working with young children and educators, Chelbie is passionate about supporting

caregivers in understanding child development, responding to behavior with intention, and building

strong, relationship-centered environments for children. She is the founder of The Educators Club, a

professional learning community dedicated to empowering educators through reflective dialogue,

practical strategies, and research-informed professional development. Her work focuses on helping

caregivers and educators reconnect with their purpose while creating environments where both adults and children can thrive.

Danielle Givens is a board-certified lactation consultant with nearly a decade of clinical experience supporting families in the hospital setting. She works closely with parents and caregivers during the early postpartum period, helping them navigate feeding with confidence, clarity, and support.

Her approach is practical and evidence-informed, shaped by years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of what families are actually navigating day to day. Danielle is known for creating a calm, judgment-free space where caregivers feel comfortable asking questions, building skills, and finding what works for them.

She recognizes the important role caregivers play in supporting breastfeeding families by encouraging open communication, respecting feeding preferences, and helping create consistency between home and care environments. Her work is grounded in collaboration and respect for both the caregiver and the family.

Through education and partnership, Danielle aims to help caregivers feel confident, capable, and supported in the important work they do every day.

Polly “Pauline” Weinstein is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern specializing in child development, parent-child relationships, and family systems. She works with children, parents, and caregivers to strengthen connection, support emotional regulation, and build sustainable strategies for everyday challenges.

With a background in play-based and developmentally informed therapy, Polly brings a practical, compassionate approach to her work—helping adults better understand behavior through a relational and neurodevelopmental lens. She is especially passionate about equipping caregivers with tools that foster both structure and connection, creating environments where children can thrive.

Polly is honored to be part of International Nanny Training Day and to support nannies as essential partners in children’s emotional and developmental wellbeing.

Janet Nordine is one of the few Registered Play Therapist Supervisors™ (RPT-S) and Registered Sand Therapists (RST) in private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a Gestalt Play Therapist, a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, and a faculty member at the West Coast Institute for Gestalt Play Therapy with Children and Adolescents. Janet is also an adoption-competent and compassionate therapist with lived experience as a person who is adopted.

With hundreds of hours of specialized training and clinical experience, Janet has honed a unique skill set that allows her to connect with children through their natural language of play. Her approach helps children express their inner worlds, emotions, and needs in a safe and supportive space. She views each child and adult as a delight and works to make them feel safe, seen, and heard in every session. Janet also works with adults who have experienced trauma, attachment wounding, and life struggles.
